Jogo de Lost - Arte Conceitual

O game Lost: Via Domus foi lançado pela Ubisoft no início deste ano e parece que não é lá essas coisas. Bem, é complicado mesmo fazer um jogo sobre uma série com tantos mistérios que ninguém sabe exatamente o que está acontecendo. Dizem que quando o seriado terminar outro jogo será lançado e aí provavelmente com mais sucesso.

Mas independente da recepção do jogo atual, as imagens conceituais criadas pelo artista canadense Herve Groussin são fantásticas. Vale a pena visitar o site oficial dele e sua página do DeviantArt para ver mais imagens.

The game Lost: Via Domus was released by Ubisoft at the beginning of this year and it seems it’s not a great videogame. Well, it is complicated to make a game about a show with so many mysteries that no one knows exactly what is going on. It is said that when the show ends another game will be released, probably with more chance of success.

But regardless of what people think of this game, the conceptual images created by the Canadian artist Herve Groussin are fantastic. It’s worth it to visit his official site and his DeviantArt page to see more images.

Uhura: Visões Artísticas

Já mostramos na série Visões Artísticas a famosa dupla de Jornada nas Estrelas, Capitão Kirk e Senhor Spock. Agora é hora de homenagear aquela que quebrou diversos tabus na tv americana dos anos 60 e enfeitou nossas telinhas toda vez que dizia “Freqüências de saudações abertas”: Uhura.

We already featured the famous Star Trek duo Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock in our post series Artistic Visions. Now it is time to tip our hats to that woman who broke many taboos in the 60’s American television and enchanted us everytime she said “Hailing Frequencies Open”: Uhura.

Visões Artísticas: TRON

Tron foi um filme incrível e inovador, o primeiro a usar e abusar de imagens geradas por computador. Embora hoje em dia pareça um pouco cansativo e datado, algumas cenas e visuais são fantásticas até hoje. Abaixo, veja um pouco de arte inspirada nesse filme. Tudo direto do DeviantArt e seus ótimos artistas colaboradores.

Tron was an amazing and creative movie. It was the first one to use extensively computer generated images. Although today this movie seems a bit dated and even a little tiresome, there are some scenes and visuals there are fantastic even today. See bellow some art inspired on Tron. A propósito, já estão fazendo a continuação, TR2N, que promete arrasar. Se quiserem acertar na medida, é só manter os uniformes, as motos, os jogos e a mecânica do universo virtual, bastando acelerar o ritmo do filme, colocando mais ação e emoção.

By the way, a movie sequel it’s on the way, TR2N, and it’s promising to be breathtaking. If they want to make it good, they should keep the uniforms, the lightcicles, the games and even the mechanics of the virtual universe they created. But they could speed up the rhythm, putting more action and emotion.

Visões Artísticas: A Múmia

Foi lançado o terceiro filme da Múmia, que desta vez investiu em uma múmia oriental pra variar. Achei boa a idéia, assim como a possibilidade de explorarem múmias e mortos-vivos de diversas nacionalidades e tipos nos próximos filmes, quadrinhos e livros.

Aproveitando o tema, que tal algumas visões artísticas retiradas do DeviantArt sobre Múmias? A maioria retrata a velha conhecida múmia egípcia, mas cada artista tem sua forma diferente de vê-la e retratá-la.

Ave leitores, aqueles que vão postar os saúdam!

Tem gente que acha que é fácil conciliar a correria do dia a dia, as variações pessoais de humor e as postagens inéditas em um blog de atualização diária. Bem, é uma verdadeira luta, temos que matar um tigre leão por dia. É como uma batalha mortal em uma arena de gladiadores. A recompensa? Apenas o aplauso da multidão (na forma de visitas e comentários). A honra e glória desaparece quando tiramos o capacete, saímos da arena virtual e voltamos à nossas celas escritórios.

Viva a Revolução!

Esse cartaz foi feito em um sentido irônico, pois o autor discordou de uma pessoa que afirmava que a pirataria estava forçando as mega-corporações a mudar e prestar mais atenção ao consumidor. O autor pensou, pensou e disse que a revolução não seria baixada vai torrent. Ironicamente, resolveu criar esse cartaz que diz exatamente o oposto: A Revolução Será Baixada Via Torrent. Respeitosamente, eu concordo mais com o cartaz do que com o autor. Se bem que como eu disse antes, não é exatamente uma revolução, mas a lei do mercado.

This poster was made with irony, because the author disagreed with another person who claimed that piracy was forcing mega-corporations to change and pay more attention to the consumers. The author thought about it and said the opposite: The Revolution would not be downloaded by torrent. Ironically, he created this poster, like the soviets or big brother’s posters. Respectfully, I agree more with the poster than with the author. Well, actually, as I said before, is not exactly a revolution, but the simple and plain Market Law, that the liberals discovered long ago.
